Our dear classmate William "Bill" Johnson, who was in our class during tenth grade, passed away on Mar. 14, 2022. 
 
Here are excerpts from his obituary which appeared in The Republican newspaper, Springfield, MA:
 
William "Bill" Johnson, 72, of Ludlow, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Mar. 14, 2022.

Bill was the beloved son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Barnes) Johnson and lived most of his life in Ludlow.

He loved his career as a mechanic and was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, especially on his pontoon boat, and spending time with family and friends.

Bill leaves his devoted wife of 40 years, Debbie (Bergeron) Johnson; brother-in-law, Al Bergeron; sister-in-law, Dolores Murphy; "twin brother," Mike Messier, and his "back wife," Claudia; several nieces and nephews; three aunts; and many loving extended family members and dear friends. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brothers Bob and Phil Johnson.
 
In lieu of flowers, please made a donation in Bill's memory to Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center.
