It is with great sadness and shock that I write a few words after learning of Mac's death. Our friendship started in high school continuing throughout life. Having February birthdays, we would often connect around that time in later years when our contacts lessened. Mac was a great support to me during one of the difficult times of my life and I always found him to be a caring and thoughtful person. I have fond memories with he and his during the Christmas season when in high school, visiting his home when he made xcountry trails on his front lawn for me to use, and bluefish fishing off R.I. Mac was a very generous man. Thanks for being a part of my life, Mac!

I was in absolute shock when I saw the posting of Mac’s premature death. We had been in contact recently and told him that he was on my radar. My wife and I lived in Raymond, Maine for about 6 to 7 years on beautiful Crescent Lake. I wanted to invite Mac up to do a little fishing and kayaking but time got away from me. We moved to Scarborough, Maine in 2019 to be closer to my wife’s medical appointments and to take her aging Dad in with us. My sincere regrets go to all of Mac’s family during this terrible time. There are too many memories to share about Mac but we were friends and classmates at ELHS and at Springfield College and teammates on the Casa 7 Softball Team. RIP my friend, you were the absolute best!
