Our dear classmate Bruce Duncan passed away on Apr. 26, 2023. He joined our class in first grade.
Here are some excerpts from his obituary, which appeared in The Republican newspaper:
Bruce M. Duncan was born on Apr. 2, 1952. Sadly, he passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 26, 2023.
Bruce was an expert truck driver, having worked for many companies throughout Springfield.
A die-hard Montreal Canadiens' fan, Bruce loved the game of hockey and played for several years.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, James and Elda Duncan. He leaves behind his wife, Marlene of 42 years; son, Daniel and girlfriend, Kayla; stepdaughter, MaryAnne Bishop; and two grandchildren.
Bruce was well known everywhere he went and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a donation to help with his final expenses.
