Our dear classmate George Lull, who joined our class at the begining of his freshman year, passed away on Jun. 24, 1995.

Here are excerpts from his obituary, which appeared in the Springfield Union-News newspaper, with additional inputs from his wife, Linda:

He leaves his wife, the former Linda Harnish; two sons, Andrew M. and Eric C. at home; a sister, Christine H. Balboni of Springfield; and a niece, Lisa Impagnatiello, who was like a daughter to him.

George bailed me out too many times to remember. I almost always have used well used vans for my work, and they seem to be in need of repair on a monthly basis. George had his mobile auto repair business, and thank God he did! I would need to drive to Boston on a weekly basis on Fridays through Saturdays. Many times my van would have some kind of issue arise on a Wednesday or Thursday which would require an urgent message for George, "George, this is Scott G. I need your help!!" Without fail, he had me up and running for my calls. For that, I'm forever grateful!

Scott
